‘bunq collaborates with Qover for the release of Travel Insurance’

Qover, a prominent insurtech company with a goal of establishing a global safety net through insurance, has announced a new partnership with bunq, the second largest neobank in Europe. This collaboration will offer worldwide, one-time activation travel insurance to bunq users in seven markets as part of their plan options. The partnership, which was launched in a record-breaking six weeks, focuses on data transparency and a user-friendly experience.

The quick and efficient onboarding process was made possible by Qover’s expertise in embedded insurance solutions. Features like a fast claims process and easily accessible travel certificates have been seamlessly integrated into bunq’s app to enhance the user experience.

Quentin Colmant, CEO and Co-Founder of Qover, emphasized the importance of collaboration in this partnership. He stated, “Collaborative spirit is the cornerstone of our successful partnership. Together with bunq, we prioritised delivering an exceptional user experience for Eva, bunq’s model user. This commitment extends beyond the insurance product itself, encompassing outstanding AI-powered customer care and a streamlined claims process.”

One key aspect of this partnership is the embedded insurance orchestration available on bunq’s Easy Bank Pro XL plan. Qover’s claims data dashboard, which analyzes common rejection clauses, empowers bunq users to easily file claims when necessary.

Ali Niknam, Founder and CEO of bunq, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Qover, saying, “We’re making travel insurance effortless together. It’s exactly the peace of mind we want our users to have, whether they spend, save, or travel with bunq.”

Qover has made significant investments in improving customer support and claims capabilities through automation and AI-powered processes. This will enhance the support provided to bunq’s users, ensuring a smooth travel insurance journey for all.
