‘Bristol welcomes back Europe’s biggest celebration of street art and graffiti’

UPFEST Presents is back for 2024, bringing Europe’s largest street art and graffiti festival back to Bristol. The 17-day event kicks off today (May 17) with a variety of workshops and events throughout BS3.

Attendees can look forward to a diverse program of free workshops, including painting, street art tours, drama sessions, Posca paint-pen workshops, and more. Renowned Bristol-based street art icon, Andy Council, will lead ‘Dino Drawing’ workshops using high-quality pencils from Faber-Castell.

Alix Smith from Tape Art Project will also host tape art design sessions and a large public installation at the Tobacco Factory, inviting visitors to participate and create their own art. All workshops will take place at different venues in Southville and Bedminster, allowing participants to explore the creativity of BS3.

Co-founder of UPFEST PRESENTS, Steve Hayles, expressed gratitude to partner Yuup for their support in managing the series of workshops, made possible by financial assistance from Arts Council England. The collaboration aims to provide attendees with new skills, passions, and great memories through the celebration of creativity.
