‘Bahrain’s Women’s Health Conference & Exhibition Set to Launch in May’

The upcoming International Women’s Health Conference & Exhibition is scheduled to take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain on May 3-4. This significant event is a collaboration between the Bahrain Obstetricians and Gynecologists Association (BOGA) at the Bahrain Medical Society and BDA for organizing medical conferences and events, with accreditation from the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) providing participants with 16 hours of continuous medical training.

The conference boasts a diverse lineup of speakers and experts in obstetrics, gynecology, and women’s health from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, the United States, and Canada. The agenda will cover various essential themes aimed at advancing women’s health and improving their overall care, including reproductive health, maternal and fetal medicine, pelvic floor disorders, treatments for gynecological tumors, early detection strategies for gynecological cancers, and more.

Dr. Nouf Behzad, Conference Chairperson and President of BOGA, highlighted the rapid evolution in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, emphasizing the importance of knowledge and scientific advancements. Dr. Behzad expressed the commitment to hosting international conferences to bring together medical professionals from different regions, promoting collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation.

Dr. Fatema Adel Alkhan, Chairperson of the Scientific Committee and Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecology, emphasized the conference’s goal of enhancing obstetrics and gynecology services in Bahrain through educational initiatives and knowledge sharing. The event aims to provide a platform for scientific engagement, offering access to the latest research and developments to equip doctors with current practices in their field. Dr. Alkhan also highlighted the meticulous preparations by the Scientific Committee to ensure the conference’s success and establish it as a landmark event in Bahrain and the region.
