‘Auction of Ronaldo NFTs for Meet-and-Greet Event’

Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges globally, is entering the final phase of its fourth Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection titled “Forever Worldwide: The Road to Saudi Arabia.” This collection offers users the opportunity to own one of seven rare NFTs and also win a meet-and-greet with the renowned soccer superstar.

The auction for four out of the seven NFTs will commence tomorrow at 2pm UTC, starting with an initial bid price of 777 USDT. Additionally, three NFTs can be acquired through a quiz. Only users who have collected the six preceding NFTs in the collection are eligible to participate in the quiz, which will begin at the same time as the auction. Both the auction and the quiz will conclude on June 18th at 23:59:59 UTC.

Winners of the seven “Portugal” NFTs will receive complimentary premium economy tickets and accommodations to witness Ronaldo’s team play live. Furthermore, each winner will have the chance to meet Ronaldo on-set, where the legendary goal-scorer will record personalized goal celebration videos as scripted by each winner.

The “Forever Worldwide: The Road to Saudi Arabia” NFT collection was initially launched on May 29th and features seven NFTs celebrating various locations where Ronaldo has played soccer, including “Madeira,” “Lisbon,” “Manchester,” “Madrid,” “Turin,” “Saudi,” and “Portugal.” Users who collected these NFTs had the opportunity to receive vintage jerseys, soccer tickets, and printable posters.

Ronaldo expressed in a press release that the collection holds personal significance to him and allows fans to acquire pieces of his soccer journey. Collaborating with artists to create the NFT images added sentimental value, and he believes these moments in his career can now be immortalized as NFTs.

The partnership between Binance and Ronaldo traces back to 2022 and has led to the launch of four NFT collections on the Binance NFT marketplace. However, the partnership faced complications as Ronaldo is currently entangled in a billion class action lawsuit related to the promotion of the NFTs, which have seen a decline in value.

Over the past few years, Ronaldo and Binance have collaborated on several NFT collections. This includes opportunities for NFT holders to train with Ronaldo in Lisbon, the debut of the “The GOAT” collection celebrating his goal-scoring prowess, and the unveiling of his first NFT collection featuring animated statues depicting different moments in his life and career.
