‘Art Exhibition Revealed by Emoji and IOMA’

The emoji Company has collaborated with IOMA to present an innovative art exhibition that delves into the essence of social themes through the iconic emoji brand. Located at the IOMA Art Center in Beijing’s 798 Art District, this unique collaboration, facilitated by Medialink, promises a thought-provoking exploration of contemporary culture.

At the heart of the exhibition lies a profound investigation into the visual appeal and cultural significance of the emoji brand. Visitors can engage with experiential installations and interactive displays that offer a captivating glimpse into the world of emojis.

This exhibition aims to analyze the impact of the emoji brand on our society, shedding light on a cultural phenomenon. Through various exhibits, the show traces the evolution of social dynamics and emotional connections in the digital era.

Spanning an impressive 1500 square meters across three floors, the exhibition features five halls filled with interactive installations designed to inspire and captivate audiences. Twelve esteemed artists, such as Raychi, FELIX_Shaozi, and Bai Tengyuan, have contributed their creative talents to produce emotive artworks that blend traditional art forms with contemporary iconography. From whimsical sculptures to avant-garde paintings, each piece offers a fresh perspective on the enduring appeal of the emoji brand in today’s world.

Paulina Pérez, vice president of licensing and operations at The emoji Company, expressed her excitement about working with IOMA, talented artists, and Medialink to bring this event to life. She praised the creative reinterpretation of the artists who have crafted pieces inspired by contemporary emoji brand motifs and themes.

Every corner of the exhibition features interactive installations, from the engaging emoji Wonderland to the intriguing Emotional Map Game. Guests have the opportunity to participate in real-life emoji brand games and create their own expressive symbols.
