‘Approval Obtained for KlasJet to Operate in Saudi Arabia’

Avia Solutions Group’s KlasJet has recently secured approval from the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia to expand its operations in the Middle East. The Vilnius, Lithuania-based private and corporate jet charter company is looking to capitalize on the growing demand for exclusive air travel in the region.

KlasJet’s strategic goal is to cater to various regions worldwide, and establishing a presence in Saudi Arabia will enhance its appeal to potential partners. CEO Justinas Bulka highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional and personalized travel experiences for its clients.

The expansion in the Middle East will involve deploying one of KlasJet’s Boeing 737 aircraft in Saudi Arabia, complementing the existing 737 based in Dubai. With the Middle East emerging as a key market for business aviation, KlasJet aims to meet the escalating demand for VIP air travel.

Operating under an ACMI basis, KlasJet’s Middle East operations will be managed by Horizon Aviation. The company’s fleet consists of Classic Boeing 737s and a BBJ Boeing 737 with capacities ranging from 23 to 68 seats. Additionally, KlasJet offers Boeing 737-800s to other airlines for ACMI leasing, providing flexibility in capacity management.

The company has witnessed a surge in demand for its services, with orders doubling in the summer of 2023 compared to the previous year. With continued expansion plans and the increasing popularity of VIP air travel, KlasJet is poised for further growth in the Middle East and beyond.

As part of Avia Solutions Group, KlasJet contributes to the group’s status as the world’s largest ACMI provider with a diverse fleet of 212 aircraft and a global team of 11,700 employees. With a portfolio of airlines including SmartLynx Airlines, Avion Express, AirExplore, Magma Aviation, and KlasJet, ASG continues to expand its presence in the aviation industry worldwide.
