Another Aid Ship Reaches Al Arish Port with 5,340 Tonnes of Supplies for Gaza

The UAE’s humanitarian efforts continue to shine as the fourth aid ship bound for Gaza has arrived at Al Arish Port in Egypt. The vessel, which departed from Fujairah on July 8th, is the largest in the UAE’s aid initiatives for Gaza, boasting a substantial cargo volume and a diverse array of supplies.

This aid shipment comprises 5,340 tonnes of crucial relief items, encompassing 4,134 tonnes of food parcels, 145 tonnes of rice and flour, 110 tonnes of water packed in 200,000 containers, and over 4,000 tents. Additionally, it includes 42,000 health packages for women and children, 18 tonnes of weather-resistant covers, and 1,600 relief bags. The magnitude of this delivery underscores the UAE’s unwavering commitment to addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Known as Operation “Chivalrous Knight 3,” this initiative highlights the UAE’s steadfast dedication to supporting Palestinians in their time of need. In addition to the aid shipment, the operation involves the establishment of field hospitals – one on the ground in Gaza and one as a floating hospital off the coast of Al Arish. Furthermore, five automatic bakeries have been set up, along with the provision of flour to eight existing bakeries in Gaza.

Moreover, as part of this comprehensive relief effort, six desalination plants have been installed to produce 1.2 million gallons of water daily, benefiting over 600,000 individuals in Gaza. Operation “Birds of Goodness” has also been launched to airdrop 3,382 tonnes of aid to isolated areas in northern Gaza, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most.
