‘Another Aid Ship Headed to Gaza from UAE’
The UAE is sending its third aid ship, loaded with 4,500 tonnes of humanitarian supplies, to Al Arish in Egypt. This shipment, part of the ‘Gallant Knight 3’ operation directed by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aims to provide support to the Palestinian people in Gaza. Included in the relief package are food, medical supplies, nutritional supplements for children, winter clothes, shelter materials, and other essential items.
A comprehensive plan has been developed in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent teams on the ground to ensure the efficient distribution of the aid cargo to the most affected regions of Gaza, with a focus on providing adequate food supplies during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The UAE previously dispatched aid ships in December 2023 and February 2024, delivering a total of 8,319 tonnes of relief as part of its ongoing humanitarian operation.
