Amir and UAE President Talk About Strengthening Relations and Gulf Cooperation
In a meeting in Abu Dhabi, HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed ways to strengthen the relations between their two countries across various fields. The focus was on enhancing fraternal cooperation for the benefit of their peoples and promoting joint Gulf action.
The leaders also exchanged views on regional and global developments, with a particular emphasis on the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. Both sides expressed their support for efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and work towards a comprehensive and lasting peace based on a two-state solution that ensures regional security and stability.
The high-level talks were attended by key officials from both countries, including HH Personal Representative Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani from Qatar. On the UAE side, attendees included HH Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and HH Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The meeting underscored the strong relationship between Qatar and the UAE and their shared commitment to addressing common challenges and promoting peace and cooperation in the region.
