“All is Well at Glasgow’s Fresh Asian Fusion Restaurant”

A sophisticated Chinese restaurant is set to open its doors in Glasgow city centre, promising an elegant and adventurous dining experience. Zhima, the latest venture from the Hunky Dory Group, aims to bring a touch of glamour to the dining scene in the city.

After four years in development, Zhima will finally welcome guests next week, featuring a menu influenced by the flavors of Canton, Hunan, and Sichuan cuisines. Chefs recruited from Asian-fusion restaurants in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be creating mouth-watering dishes for diners to enjoy.

According to Paul Sloan, the mind behind Zhima, the dining room and cocktail bar are designed to be elegant and contemporary, offering guests the opportunity to dress up and enjoy a sophisticated evening out. Sloan believes that Zhima will provide a unique dining experience in Glasgow, much like Hakkasan in London and Tattu in Edinburgh.

Located in St Vincent Place next to Buchanan Street, Zhima will occupy the former Prezzo site, becoming the ninth venue in the Hunky Dory portfolio. In partnership with Mario Gizzi and Tony Connetta of Di Maggio’s Restaurant Group, Zhima aims to elevate customer experiences and provide a late-night venue with a touch of glam and sophistication.

The restaurant is set to open on Wednesday, April 17, operating seven days a week from 12noon to 10.30pm, offering business lunch, pre-theatre, and evening menus for diners to enjoy. Get ready to experience a taste of Mandarin cuisine in the heart of Glasgow at Zhima.
