‘Airline reintroduces loyalty program’
Etihad Airways is set to relaunch its Etihad Guest loyalty program in June 2024, offering members more personalized rewards and benefits tailored to their travel preferences. The revamped program will introduce a new elite Diamond tier to recognize the airline’s top flyers.
According to Mark Potter, Managing Director of Etihad Guest, the enhancements aim to elevate the member experience and provide more rewarding opportunities for loyal customers. The program updates include revised pricing for GuestSeats, with reduced miles required for popular destinations in both Economy and Business classes.
For example, flights from Abu Dhabi to London in Economy Class will now cost 30,000 EYG Miles and taxes, while Milan to Abu Dhabi in Economy Class will require 25,000 miles and taxes. Additionally, members will continue to earn Tier Miles and Etihad Guest Miles on bookings from June, with higher fare brands offering increased rewards.
Platinum Tier members will also benefit from a 100% Bonus Etihad Guest Miles when flying with Etihad Airways or eligible airline partners, bringing them closer to their next rewards. Furthermore, members will have the opportunity to upgrade to The Residence, Etihad’s luxury three-room suite in the sky, using their miles.
The relaunch of the Etihad Guest program signifies a new chapter in rewarding customer loyalty and providing a more personalized and rewarding travel experience for members. Subscribe to the FINN weekly newsletter for more updates on aviation news and industry trends.
