‘Acquisition of Transfeera by PayRetailers’

PayRetailers, a Barcelona-based fintech company specializing in payment operations in Latin America, has acquired Transfeera, a regulated payment company in Brazil. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Transfeera, led by CEO Fernando Nunes, provides platform and technology solutions for payment processing and bank data validation. With this acquisition, PayRetailers is set to expand its presence in Brazil significantly. Transfeera brings over 450 new customers and 62 employees to PayRetailers, boosting its workforce to 100 employees in Brazil and 550 globally spread across ten offices.

Founded by CEO and Founder Juan Pablo Jutgla, PayRetailers is a prominent player in payment processing in Latin America and Africa. The company offers comprehensive e-commerce solutions, facilitating international transactions without the need for a local entity. Through its advanced technological platform and commercial agreements, PayRetailers grants access to more than 250 local payment methods. Operating in over 20 countries in Latin America and Africa, PayRetailers plans to double its workforce in Brazil by 2025 and extend its services to Brazilian companies.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone for PayRetailers’ expansion strategy and solidifies its position as a key player in the Latin American fintech market.
