AC Milan’s New International Academy in Dubai Signals Strategic Growth in the Middle East

AC Milan has recently announced the launch of a new initiative in Dubai, the AC Milan International Academy, in collaboration with Ball Beast Academy. This move is part of the football club’s strategy to extend its global footprint and support young talent in the Middle East.

The unveiling ceremony, hosted by the Dubai Sports Council, saw AC Milan’s CEO, Giorgio Furlani, spearhead the event. The launch of the academy reflects AC Milan’s dedication to expanding globally, with the support of RedBird Capital Partners. In addition to the academy, AC Milan has also established Casa Milan Dubai and formed partnerships during Expo 2020, further solidifying its presence in the region.

Having already found success with an academy in Kuwait, AC Milan aims to promote a healthy sports culture in the Middle East and Africa, where the club has a strong fanbase. Key partnerships with Emirates, SIRO, and CFI Financial Group emphasize the academy’s focus on holistic development for young athletes.

Maikel Oettle, AC Milan’s Chief Commercial Officer, shared the club’s vision for the new academy, highlighting their commitment to nurturing talent and making a positive impact in local communities. The AC Milan International Academy in Dubai is now part of a global network of over 100 Rossoneri Academies, engaging thousands of young athletes each season with the help of AC Milan coaches worldwide.

This new addition in Dubai showcases AC Milan’s dedication to fostering young talent and expanding its reach in key international markets. With a focus on developing both personal and athletic skills, the academy aims to make a tangible impact on the communities it operates in while sharing the renowned Milan Model with young players worldwide.
