A Day on College Hill: Getting a Glimpse of Life at Brown

Brown University hosted A Day on College Hill, providing admitted undergraduates with a glimpse into life at the prestigious institution. The event, commonly known as ADOCH, featured a variety of activities for the incoming Class of 2028, including “speed friending,” residential tours, a food truck festival, and student performances.

Over 1,000 admitted students from across the United States and 27 other countries attended the two-day event held on April 12 and April 19. Attendees had the chance to participate in panel discussions, learn about Brown’s signature Open Curriculum, explore different departments through open houses, and take trolley tours of Providence.

Parents also had the opportunity to engage with current Brown students during Q&A sessions and visit a support services fair to learn about resources available to students.

Logan Powell, associate provost for enrollment and dean of undergraduate admission, highlighted the importance of A Day on College Hill in helping prospective students make informed decisions about their future. Admitted students have until May 1 to accept Brown University’s offer of admission.

The event was organized by the Office of Undergraduate Admission and aimed to showcase the unique and enriching academic and social experiences that Brown University has to offer.
