Egyptian Grand Mufti Takes Part in International Conference on “Contemporary Jurisprudence”
Egypt’s Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, has embarked on a journey to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, to take part in an international conference focused on “Contemporary Jurisprudence and Its Impact on Enhancing Sustainable Development.” Dr. Allam is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the conference, which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah.
The two-day conference, organized by the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Sharjah University from March 5th to 6th, will see the participation of esteemed researchers and scholars from the university and various academic institutions in the Islamic world.
This conference aims to explore the intersection of jurisprudence and sustainable development, providing a platform for intellectual exchange and collaboration among experts in the field.
