‘2024 Winner of the ‘Women in STEM’ Scholarship Announced by Zillion’

Zillion, an insurance provider, recently announced Marina Mekhaeil as the recipient of its annual “Women in STEM” scholarship for 2024. The scholarship, created to support and empower women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math, aims to help cover tuition costs for female students majoring in STEM disciplines at accredited U.S. colleges or universities.

Marina Mekhaeil, currently studying mechanical engineering at the University of Houston’s Cullen College of Engineering, was chosen from nearly 100 applicants for her passion for robotics and software programming, as well as her strong character and inspiring personal story.

Zillion emphasized the significance of the scholarship, highlighting the company’s commitment to fostering innovation through a diverse and talented team, with women well-represented in engineering and leadership roles.
