‘2024 Speakers Revealed for Entrepreneurial Event in New Orleans’

New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW) is set to take place from March 11-16, boasting a lineup of expert speakers from a variety of backgrounds. Among the keynote speakers is Edrizio De La Cruz, a former Partner at Y Combinator and Co-Founder of the financial technology startup Arcus, which was acquired by Mastercard Inc. in 2021.

NOEW, organized by nonprofit business accelerator The Idea Village, is a leading event on the Gulf Coast that celebrates entrepreneurship, innovation, and culture. In its 13th year, NOEW offers a unique experience that only New Orleans can provide. Attendance is free, but registration is required to access the week-long programming and events.

De La Cruz, who immigrated from the Dominican Republic to Harlem, has a remarkable entrepreneurial journey that led him to success with Arcus. He will share his story at Gallier Hall on Wednesday, March 13, in a session co-presented by NOEW and The New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University.

The event will feature over 100 speakers covering themes such as Artificial Intelligence, Climate Tech, Culture Tech, Founder Journeys, and Health Innovation. A full list of speakers can be found on the NOEW website, with many scheduled to speak at Innovation Day on March 13.

NOEW 2024 will coincide with the New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University, creating a synergistic celebration of culture, innovation, and literature. The two events will feature programming by nationally recognized authors and speakers, including Shennette Garrett-Scott, Walter Isaacson, Rob Lalka, Jessica Norwood, and Peter Ricchiuti.

The partnership between NOEW and the New Orleans Book Festival will enhance the experience for attendees looking to engage with big ideas, business innovation, and literary culture. Thursday, March 14, will serve as a “crossover day,” with featured programming from both events.
