‘2024 Music Festival Playback at SXSW’

The 2024 SXSW Music Festival was a huge success, bringing together over 1,200 new, developing, and established artists from around the world to Austin, TX from March 11-16. The Music Opening Party set the tone for the festivities with a lineup that included Texas sensation Pedal Steel Noah, Mexico City’s Juanpalitoschinos, soulful storyteller Dende, and more.

Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy live music at SXSW Day Stages, with performances by artists like PAPISA, Marem Ladson, Marcelo D2, OH HE DEAD, and Brittany Davis. The SXSW Community Concerts at Lady Bird Lake featured headliners such as Bob Schneider, Zapp Featuring Bootsy Collins, and Waco Brothers, showcasing a total of 1800+ performances and 422 international acts on 65 stages throughout the city.

Presenter Showcases were a highlight of the festival, with 310 Official Showcases curated by SXSW in partnership with organizations like BBC Introducing, Billboard, Canela Music, and Easy Eye Sound. These showcases brought top-notch lineups to the SXSW Music Festival, showcasing the best talent in the industry.
