‘150 million dirhams donated to create medical complex endowment’

Abdul Rahim Mohammed Belghozooz Al Zarooni has announced a generous donation of Dhs150 million to establish an endowment medical complex in support of underprivileged communities and vulnerable populations. The donation was made in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).

This donation is part of an agreement between MBRGI and Abdul Rahim Al Zarooni, with the aim of developing a medical complex whose proceeds will be dedicated to supporting MBRGI projects. Mohammad Al Gergawi, the Secretary General of MBRGI, highlighted the humanitarian vision behind this initiative, emphasizing the importance of extending support to underprivileged communities and alleviating the suffering of those most in need.

Abdul Rahim Mohammed Belghozooz Al Zarooni expressed his commitment to supporting MBRGI’s noble efforts and contributing to their global humanitarian role through the establishment of the endowment medical complex. He hopes that this contribution will make a significant difference and fulfill the needs and hopes of those in need globally.

MBRGI has continued to strengthen its position as a leader in humanitarian and charity work, with a significant increase in the number of beneficiaries and the reach of its aid and social programs. In 2023, the organization impacted the lives of 111 million people through various projects and campaigns, with total spending amounting to AED1.8 billion.
